ZOTAK ZBOX NANO PLUS AD10 PC

The Zbox Nano Plus AD10’s size is one of its most interesting features, with the length and breadth measuring just five inches. The top and bottom panel are black and a green LED ring lights up when it is on. Zotac has fitted a 2.5-inch 320 GB internal HDD along with a 2 GB RAM in this variant of the Nano Plus. Connections for this are in the form of HDMI, DisplayPort, USB 2.0 and 3.0, along with an Ethernet port and an eSATA port. This mini-PC is powered by an AMD E-350 1.6 GHz dual core processor, which features an AMD M1 chipset. The integrated GPU is an AMD Radeon HD 6310. Though this mini PC comes without an OS, one can hook an optical drive to it and install it. It does, however, come with drivers to configure the USB 3.0 and ports and GPU. The performance of this PC was tested by running synthetic benchmarks as well as real world tests. 3D Mark recorded a score of 678 points while PC Mark scored 2236 points. This PC was not designed to play games, and from the scores, you can tell. The average fps noted for Resident Evil 5 and Dirt 2 were 11.2 and 15.5 respectively. The Zotac AD10 is priced at Rs 17,999 and it makes a really good choice for an HTPC.
Verdict: Perfect HTPC solution with superior connectivity and small size.
For: Small in size, vast connectivity options, perfect for an HTPC, well priced.
Against: No preinstalled operating system.
