MICROSOFT ARC TOUCH MOUSE

The most important features of a portable mouse are its size and form factor and the Microsoft Arc Touch excels in both respects. With its sleek, compact design, the mouse can slip into any pocket. Even the wireless USB receiver is tiny and conveniently sticks to a magnet on the back. The touch sensitive scroll pad comes preset with page scrolling shortcuts, which you can reassign to your own commands. The slim build does affect its usability, however; the mouse is not very ergonomic and it takes some getting used to. It does not provide support for the entire palm and fingers tend to slip under the arch, so it is not suited for long periods of use. The lack of a solid base also makes it difficult to use on uneven surfaces.

VERDICT: Extremely portable mouse for travelling users.
FOR: easy on/off control, touch sensitive programmable scroll pad
AGAINST: Not very comfortable for prolonged use
